Somerset Council will be closing Quantock Road eastbound between Whitegates Roundabout and Danesboro Road. The closure will be from 9:30am to 3pm on Wednesday 18th March. Westbound traffic will not be affected. As explained in the closure order, the road closure is required so that a contractor can “reset gully frame works on behalf of Somerset Highways.”
The effect of the closure is that there will be no access from Wembdon towards Bridgwater along Quantock Road.

Openreach will be closing Waldrons Lane on 24th February while they carry out overhead cabling works. The closure will be from 146 metres north of the junction with Perry Green Road, northwards for a total distance of 193 metres, as set out in the Closure Notice, and will last from 09:30 to 15:30.
