Closure of Blakes Road and Blakes Lane
The planned closure of Blakes Road and Blakes Lane by Somerset Council has been postponed and will now take place from 1st to 5th May. The closure will allow “Kiely Bros to carry out prep works, surface dressing and associated works on behalf of Somerset Highways”.
According to Somerset Council’s surface dressing notice, “each phase of the works will take place for one day within the stated period unless otherwise advised. The road will be reopened when no work is taking place.”
We expect vehicle access to be allowed to all premises on the affected roads, except for short periods when the location of the work prevents it. The recommended diversion route will be signposted.
